Maintenance and servicing can be key to an AV system's long term functionality and reliability. NAV provide routine AV maintenance, servicing and repairs on AV system installations, even if they weren’t originally installed by us. We have a team of Engineers who undertake on-site AV repairs and audio visual servicing.Most modern equipment will often function for long periods without any significant service intervention. However regular annual servicing & maintenance will increase a system’s long term reliability, prolonging its life and reducing the chance of faults that cause downtime and business disruption.
Our service & maintenance agreements are designed around your specific AV set-up and individual needs. Whether you require an engineer call out to repair an existing AV, video or audio system or a comprehensive maintenance agreement that covers every eventuality, we can help.
We offer two types of support contracts; Annual Service Agreements and Maintenance Agreements.
An annual service agreement is a yearly commitment for an experienced service engineer to visit your premises and perform essential maintenance on your equipment, significantly extending the lifespan of the installed AV system. Following the visit, we’ll provide a report which details the servicing we’ve carried out, highlighting any potential issues and making recommendations to improve the system in the future. It’s a simple yet effective process that can turn your initial equipment purchase in to a long-term investment.
Even with the best intentions, modern technology can still fail on occasion. If your AV system is critical to your business operations or you worry about significant, unforeseen costs, a maintenance contract can provide comprehensive support for peace of mind. Our maintenance agreements offer varying levels of support that can be tailored to your exact requirements, ensuring that you only pay for what you need. We recognise that if there’s a problem, you’ll need it resolving as quickly as possible. Guaranteed engineer response times are factored in to our maintenance contract agreements, with the option to supply suitable loan equipment to minimise any disruption to your business practices. We also offer a ‘dedicated’ loan equipment service, where we can supply identical loan equipment reserved specifically for you so that you can be assured of complete continuity should any problems arise.
As part of a maintenance contract you’ll also receive comprehensive support via our Technical Helpdesk, meaning you’ll always have someone knowledgeable on-hand who understands your system and how best to assist. Should your AV equipment develop a fault, NAV provide a comprehensive repair service to get you back up and running, even if we aren’t the original supplier. Following your repair request, one of our experienced Service Engineers will visit your premises and determine the cause of the fault, with the aim to fix the fault on-site quickly and efficiently, keeping room down-time to a minimum. If this isn’t possible, the equipment will be returned to our AV service workshop and we’ll liaise with the manufacturer to source the required components, keeping you updated with the repair progress. AV equipment can be mission critical to your business operations so, if we have to remove the product to be serviced, we can supply loan equipment to keep the room up and running, with minimum disruption.
We have a long-standing relationship with many manufacturers including Crestron, AMX, Epson, Panasonic, Samsung, LG, Sennheiser, JBL & Crown to name but a few. If we can’t repair the faulty components in-house, we’ll liaise with the manufacturers to obtain original replacement parts.
We believe that every Audio Visual System should be used to its full potential and offer a range of services to help you make the most of your investment;
- AV Product Training – even straightforward systems can sometimes seem daunting. You may have inherited the system from a previous owner, whether internally through a promotion or when moving premises. NAV can provide product specific, face-to-face training to demonstrate the operation of the equipment and ensure you’re up and running within a few hours.
- AV System Documentation & Schematics – we can produce written user documentation & wiring schematics to help you ‘de-mystify’ your Audio Visual System. From easy-to-read ‘User Instructional Guides’ to complex administrative tasks, we can assess the current AV System in place and produce user-documentation to suit your requirements.
- Loan AV Equipment – if your AV equipment has suffered a fault, we can supply temporary loan equipment to minimise room down-time. We stock a range of Audio Visual equipment, including Projectors, Speakers & Amplifiers and System Control Panels.
