Outdoor PA Hire for Military Event
Prince William of Gloucester Barracks is a military base near Grantham in Lincolnshire The barracks are the Headquarters for the Royal Logistics Corps, Army Reserve and the Army Training Regiment-Grantham. The barracks is also the base for the Regional Training Centre of 7th Infantry and the HQ of the Queen's Royal Lancers.
Outdoor PA hire - Lincolnshire for the annual army catering competition hosted by 167 Catering Support Regiment of the Royal Logistic Corps. NAV have supported the regiment with the outdoor PA and sound systems for their annual catering competition over a number of recent years. The international event is split into two competition zones each of which requires outdoor PA equipment. Each zone requires a PA system that whilst audible throughout, does not excessively ‘bleed’ in to the surrounding area and create a confusing mass of sound.
The directional outdoor speakers we supply are weatherproof and suitable for pro-longed outdoor use in any weather. They are fixed on suitable stands to t-bars which in turn are secured with guy ropes to avoid any health & safety issues during the weekend event. Individual amplifiers and mixers are sited undercover, protected by tents away from the elements. Where possible cables are routed away from both pedestrian and vehicle access, any cables that do cross thoroughfares are fully protected by either rubber matting or heavy duty road ramps where appropriate.
Within the main competition tents we install two, 2x speaker PA systems, cabling for which is ran around the perimeter of the marquee roof lining to prevent trip hazards in the busy kitchen areas. The systems have two radio microphones for announcements and commentary and the facility to play music during any breaks in the competition.
